Emergency Medical Technician.
Otherwise known as a Paramedic, an Emergency Medical Technician can be commonly found inside of an ambulance but can also be working on emergencies in air. Their job is to provide medical or emergency treatment to ill or wounded people fast and efficiently. Most work full-time, shifts ranging from every hour, day or night.

This is a career choice for me. Currently, I wish to become a Navy Corpsman; this is a similar occupation. I would like to help people, and I know that there are allot of ways to do that other than the military or an EMT. Yet this appeals to me for a reason that is unknown to myself. |
